Walking through the shadows, feeling so alone

Why did they hurt me, tear me apart?

Every scar tells a story, every wound a prayer

Heavenly Lord, hear my cry, guide my way

Lift me from these shadows, come what may

Give me strength to stand, help me find peace

In your love, I believe, let my soul release

Starved and broken, lost in a cold street

Yet your mercy covers wounds, oh so sweet

Can I be forgiven for feeling so small?

Your love is boundless, it covers all

Through storms and trials, your presence remains
