Grace for the Fallen

Oh, Lord, I've stumbled, I've fallen deep,

Lost my way while the world’s asleep.

Wandered through my sins, I confess,

Seeking grace for my distress.

He wandered out to the park again,

Caught up in shadows, feeling the pain.

Made my mistakes, I crossed the line,

Drowned in guilt, can't pray this time.

But I know I’m lost in the night,

Desperation fuels my fight.

Can’t escape the tears I hide,

Looking for a light inside.

Forgive me, Lord, for the wrongs I've done,

For the darkness I’ve become.

Save my soul from burning flames,

Let mercy wash away the shame.

I’m a sinner, trying to find peace,

Falling down, but needing release.

Hear my cry, I plead, I pray,

Guide me home, show me the way.

Oh, Lord, I call your name,

Beseech your mercy, end this shame.

Grant me pardon, set me free,

From the chains inside of me.
