I walk upon hallowed grounds, where ghosts do lay,
No light to guide my path or guide my way.
Then I saw that thickened mist,
There was a darkness there, my mind bends and twists.
And when I heard that awful sound,
I turned to see they broke through the ground.
Is this truth or do my eyes deceive?
Cannot imagine, cannot believe.
The dead have risen from their graves,
To rule the earth and to enslave.
I tried to run because I was scared,
But no matter where I ran, they found me there.
Say goodbye, to the seventh son,
The dead will rise until the dawn does come.
It’s the dance of the dead
Bodies rise, and blood is shed
So dance, just dance the night away,
Cut the flesh, and to God I pray.
Dance, just dance, it’s the dance of the dead.
Harken the night, madness spreads…
Their bones they creaked and teeth they bared.
It was a scene from macabre nightmare.
My chest it heaved, my heart did race,
How do I escape from this wicked place?
The moon was bright, but a wraith I did see.
It was a pale rider who stood before me.
He dons a shroud and rides a dark horse,
His name is death and he rides with no remorse.
And when he comes, you’ll understand,
Your will and soul fall to his commands.
When he comes, you can’t escape,
For this rider comes for your life to take!
It’s the dance of the dead
Watch bodies rise, and blood is shed
So dance, just dance the night away,
Cut the flesh, and to God I pray.
Dance, just dance, it’s the dance of the dead.
Harken the night, the madness spreads...
