Welcome, Holy Spirit!

Welcome, Holy Spirit, into my life!

God's Word cleans me out as a holy knife.

I empty myself for You to fill -

My heart kneels before You, empty and still.

I long for Your Presence to fill me anew -

So I may see life from Your point of view!

I know that You Lord, will answer my prayers -

For my spirit rejoices in how much You care!

As I feel Your Presence flooding my soul,

I no longer struggle to keep control.

For You warm my spirit with Your holy fire,

And there is nothing more I could ever desire!

The warmth of Your Presence now covers me

As my spirit bows down before You humbly.

May Your Holy Spirit flow through me to others

As I sing of Your love to my sisters and brothers.

Thank You for Your anointing and power

That is filling me Lord, this very hour!
