Heaven's New Hero

In the quiet dawn, on a sacred throne,

Heaven whispers soft, a story yet unknown.

Amen and white, in celestial sight,

Receive a hero, in eternal light.

The Lord holds a paper, from a world below,

A soldier's final tale, in lines that softly flow.

He reads with gentle eyes, of a brave young soul,

A story of strength, a heart made whole.

He looks to the angel, a tender smile,

"Bring him home," he says, "right after a while."

Grace in every step, through gates so wide,

Walking with courage, on heaven's tide.

Another hero, with stars in his eyes,

Walking into the light, where no more goodbyes.

From this world to the next, love will never sever,

Holding on forever, a hero walks into eternity.

Through hospital halls, at dawn’s first glow,

A family’s love, in memories they sow.

Guardian angels, quietly near,

Whispering hope, conquering fear.

Paul took his last breath, in the Lord’s gentle hand,

Step by step, to the promised land.

He’s safe now, in heaven’s embrace,

A hero in skies, with boundless grace.
