Cleansing of the Heart

Whispering in shadows, fighting the night

Seeking Your mercy, for the coming light

Thoughts like a storm, raging deep within

Craving Your grace, I kneel and pray

Surrender my heart to Your holy name

Wash away the stains I find

Your word is a lamp, Your love divine

In the silence, hear my plea

Break the chains that trap me

Fill my soul with Your holy light

Guide me through this darkest night
