Summer’s Tiny Nightmare

Oh, these tiny pests, they drive me mad

Chiggers in the grass, got me feeling insane

Scratching all night, can't find any peace

Summer's curse, annihilate them all.

Lurking in the fields, hiding in the shade

Waiting for my skin, burn them all disintegrate them before they

,destroy my sanity, so small, and so annoying

Chiggers got me cursed, tall grass is a trap

Every time I step outside, they seek and destroy my skin

They bite me from knee to toe, then drive me crazy

I try to scratch it down, but the itch just won’t quit

Wish these tiny monsters would just go extinct

I Hate chiggers, they make me itch all summer long

Fighting the bites, making my legs bleed, battling all day long

They sneak and crawl, turning my skin to fire

Oh, I want to annihilate them to, drop dead, and expire

Mosquitoes buzz, gnats swarm but chiggers take the prize

They hide in the grass, waiting to strike

I've got my spray, my boots, and my hopes up high

I’m going to war

So next summer’s, I’ll be prepared with my napalm

But deep down, I know they’ll be there

Chiggers, go away, let me be free

Or just leave my skin alone, bite some else’s feet
