Righteousness is the way, not just a duty,
Not by power, not by might or beauty.
The Bible says, and it's so true,
What the wicked fears will come to you.
But the righteous, they will see,
Their desires come to be.
So I look inside, not out,
For evil starts within, no doubt.
Flesh and blood are not my fight,
It’s the darkness, not the light.
In my heart, the battle’s real,
But righteousness is how I heal.
When the storms of life come near,
I choose what’s right, not what I fear.
God of Abraham sees it all,
He lifts me up when I could fall.
Being just and kind and true,
Is wiser than the wrong I do.
Not returning hurt for pain,
That only brings more hurt again.
When problems rise, I ask what's right,
Not just how to win the fight.
Doing good avoids more strife,
And brings me peace in this life.
Flesh and blood are not my fight,
It’s the darkness, not the light.
In my heart, the battle’s real,
But righteousness is how I heal.
When the storms of life come near,
I choose what’s right, not what I fear.
God of Abraham sees it all,
He lifts me up when I could fall.
So I walk with grace and love,
Guided by the Lord above.
Wise I am, when I obey,
And choose the righteous way.
Flesh and blood are not my fight,
It’s the darkness, not the light.
In my heart, the battle’s real,
But righteousness is how I heal.
When the storms of life come near,
I choose what’s right, not what I fear.
God of Abraham sees it all,
He lifts me up when I could fall.
