The Adventures of Little Bunny Boo
Little Bunny Boo hopped out one day,
With a twitch of his nose, he was off to play.
He waved to the birds and he smiled at the bees,
He danced with the daisies that swayed in the breeze.
He found a red ball near a big oak tree,
He rolled it and bounced it, shouting, “Yippee!”
A squirrel came by with a nut in his paw,
They played hide and seek—what fun Bunny saw!
He skipped through the forest, then down by the brook,
And read a few lines from his picture book.
He sang to the fishes, he splashed with delight,
Then dried in the sun till his fur was just right.
When the sun dipped low and the sky turned gold,
Little Bunny Boo wasn’t feeling so bold.
He yawned and he stretched with a sleepy little sigh,
Then waved to the moon as it rose in the sky.
He hopped back home to his cozy little bed,
With dreams of new adventures dancing in his head.
Mama Bunny kissed him and whispered, “Sleep tight—
Sweet dreams, little Bunny, till morning light.”
