Early Morning Blessings

My patio calls me out to enjoy

The summertime breeze I feel each morn.

Before the temperatures heat up and

rise

And as the day is newly born!

A flock of birds sweeps down on my yard,

Gathering tidbits to eat,

Flying from fence to feeder and grass,

It starts my day on a happy beat!

Thank you for the morning sun Your mercies are forever new.

A brand new day has just begun

My grateful heart belongs to you

Each day is truly a gift from God!

I never know what it may hold.

But I give Him glory as the day goes on,

As my story of life I truly behold!

He visits with me throughout each day,

His Presence always sees me through.

No matter what life tosses my way

He will bless with what I say and do!

The night is gone, the sky is bright. The world is filled with golden light I open up my eyes to see The simple gifts you give to me
