Hidden behind a smile, a mask I wear each day

A face that's shining bright, but inside I feel the sway

Battered by memories, haunted by the ghosts

Questioning every shadow, asking if it hurts the most

In the silence, I keep my secret, carry all I can’t say

Lost in the darkness, searching for a brighter day

Demons on my shoulder, whispering my past

Fighting to hold on, trying to outlast
