Lost in the Shadows

Lost in the shadows, feeling all alone

Trying to find my way, but I'm stuck on my own

Every step I take, feels like I'm falling down

Can't find the strength to turn my life around

Days turn to nights, and nights blend into days

Struggling with each breath, caught in the haze

Plans fall apart, dreams fade away

Walking this tightrope, got no safety

It’s a battle within, fighting to stand tall

But every attempt, just makes me fall

Craving release, drowning in despair

Can’t find my way out, can’t find a prayer

Trying to hold on, but I feel so weak

Lost in the darkness, can’t find what I seek

Going in circles, trapped in my mind

Hoping for a sign, but nothing’s coming in time

Maybe it’s okay to fall, to break and bend

Learn from the cracks, find a way to mend

Even in the darkness, a spark still glows

Sometimes you gotta lose to truly know

I’ll keep on trying, even when I’m done

Searching for the sun, after all the rain comes

Though I feel like giving up, I won’t let go

Maybe tomorrow, I’ll find a new road to roam
