Verse 1: In a dream so serene, outside the mosque I stood,
Saw a man of faith, writing as he could.
Signing a book of Shariah, with wisdom so grand,
I couldn’t resist, I reached out my hand.
Chorus: Dreams of Mawlid, in the night so bright,
Seeking knowledge, in the holy light.
Books of wisdom, in my hands they lay,
Guiding my soul, in the righteous way.
Verse 2: He asked me why, I desired the book,
I spoke of Shariah, in the past we took.
High matters of faith, in the Prophet’s time,
Now just Fiqh, in this modern climb.
Chorus: Dreams of Mawlid, in the night so bright,
Seeking knowledge, in the holy light.
Books of wisdom, in my hands they lay,
Guiding my soul, in the righteous way.
Bridge: He led me inside, past the carpeted floor,
To the Imam’s place, where books did soar.
Encyclopedias blue, he pulled out four,
Not titled Shariah, but they held much more.
Verse 3: Pages turned, with terms so deep,
Ruh, Islam, in my heart they seep.
I took the books, placed them in my bag,
Left the mosque, with a spirit that lagged.
Chorus: Dreams of Mawlid, in the night so bright,
Seeking knowledge, in the holy light.
Books of wisdom, in my hands they lay,
Guiding my soul, in the righteous way.
Outro: In the dream, a journey so profound,
With books of truth, my soul unbound.
Mawlid’s light, in my heart it stays,
Guiding me through, all my days.
