Verse 1: What is dīn? It’s the path divine,
Revealed by God, through Prophets’ line.
Tradition, ‘ādah, from times of old,
A way of life, sīrah, pure and bold.
Chorus: It’s the law, shara‘, and the way, ṣirāṭ,
Guiding us on the Straight Path sought.
Unconditional obedience, ṭā‘ah, we give,
In humble submission, inqiyād, we live.
Verse 2: Judgement, qaḍā’, and reckoning, ḥisāb,
Guidance, hudā, in every step we take.
Satisfaction, jazā’, in God’s decree,
Serving Him with humility, ‘ibādah, we see.
Chorus: It’s the law, shara‘, and the way, ṣirāṭ,
Guiding us on the Straight Path sought.
Unconditional obedience, ṭā‘ah, we give,
In humble submission, inqiyād, we live.
Bridge: The kalimah shahādah, our faith’s core,
Belief in Angels, Books, and more.
Prayers, ṣalāt, and zakāt we pay,
Fasting, ṣawm, and ḥajj, our sacred way.
Verse 3: Internal faith, taṣdīq bāṭin, in the heart,
External acts, taṣdīq ẓāhir, play their part.
Consciousness of God, iḥsān, we seek,
In every thought, in every deed.
Chorus: It’s the law, shara‘, and the way, ṣirāṭ,
Guiding us on the Straight Path sought.
Unconditional obedience, ṭā‘ah, we give,
In humble submission, inqiyād, we live.
Outro: Dīn is belief, devotion, and works combined,
A science, an art, in every mind.
It’s ISLĀM, the path we tread,
In God’s light, by His words we’re led.
