The Long Road to Grace

Oh, I thank You, Lord, for this graceful, long journey

From shadows of doubt to the light of Your love

Hallelujah, sing it now

Walking a long road, through trials and tears

Lost in the darkness, facing my fears

But I prayed to You, Jesus, with all of my might

Seeking a sign in the still of the night

And one evening, I asked, "Show me a sign"

Then You appeared, Lord, oh, so divine

You healed my wounds, opened my eyes

Now I see You, Lord, beyond the skies

Thank You, Jesus, for bringing me near

For wiping away every tear

Your love in my soul, so pure and real

In You, Lord, I finally feel

The peace, the joy, the holy fire

Burning in my heart's desire

Thank You, Lord, for this beautiful plan

Forever in Your grace I stand

I was lost, I was longing, I was broken inside

But Your spirit was whispering, "Come and abide"
