Verse 1
By one man’s fall, the world was chained,
But Christ obeyed, and hope remained.
From Eden’s loss to Gethsemane’s cry,
He chose the cross so we could rise.
Verse 2
Oh the sweat like blood, He prayed in pain,
“Not my will, Lord, but Yours remain.”
An angel came, His strength restored,
He bore the curse, to please the Lord.
Verse 3
Obedience brings the blessing, disobedience brings the pain,
Follow God’s commandments, life will never be in vain.
The hedge of love surrounds the one
Who walks in light, in Christ the Son.
Verse 4
From Adam’s fall to Jesus’ stand,
Grace is poured upon this land.
No longer bound, no more in chains,
Through His obedience, life we gain.
Verse 5
So walk in His ways, keep His Word alive,
In His will and law, true joy survives.
The victory’s ours, through Jesus’ name,
Righteous forever, we’ll never be the same.
