This song is dedicated to what I like to call my bonus dad. Even though I know he’s glad we met, he’s sad in his own way. He says he’s fine but I hear the pain in his eyes, and the fear of seeing him cry makes me want to lose my mind but I know I’ll be fine and he’s just alright. Being a dad is hard but being a leader is even harder. Navy man, veteran, family man, father, leader, stressing through this mess but laughing at the end of the day. There’s something in the orange but there’s more to life than crying. I’m still fine, with out without the people I love everything works out.
