[Chorus]
Rolling riding (rolling riding!)
Riding rolling (riding rolling!)
Koda looked at the road then right at his wife
And said (babe, it’s time for a ride)
Liz said (let’s take the R V for a ride cuz it’s time)
Rolling riding (rolling riding!)
Riding rolling (riding rolling!)
[Verse 1]
They’re on the highway with music blasting with the breeze
Koda said (let’s stop I have to use the bathroom babe so please)
They parked at a gassing station
Koda jumped out glad he made it
Out came Gas Station George with a crooked smile and a trucker hat
He took one look at the vehicle and said (something’s flat)
Koda asked how much to fix the tire before they leave
Gas Station George said (it’s alright) then Koda brought Liz some Slim Jim’s, he’d ordered three
They waved goodbye to the old man with a full beard passing jokes
Then were on the road to anywhere with a moving box of glee and a bag of hopes
[Verse 2]
Later on, Liz was cruising at about eighty-two miles
Music turned up too many notches and a little too loud
Koda pointed out the massive increase in speed, Liz said (what’s it to you?)
Next thing, Megaphone Mike, a cop who’d had a bad day and hardly nothing to do
Put on his sirens, pulled them over and said (you know something that’s true)
He explained the speed they were going and how it was too fast
Then he broke down about his wife and Koda said (I’m sorry, officer, I hope you two last)
Koda thought carefully for a minute and said (can I make a suggestion)
The officer waited then Koda said (flowers and a nice cake’s recommended)
The officer said (some sound advice)
Then he let them go with (keep the miles down tonight
I won’t tell you about it twice)
[Verse 3]
Liz is the passenger now, and Koda’s in the driver’s seat
Liz, dancing, stopped and said (there’s something I’d like to see)
They pulled over to a karaoke bar where people were singing country, pop, and other tunes
Liz said (let’s do this) and Koda’s wife jumped up and swooned
Koda dropping his beer, yelled (that’s my wife, she’s great!)
Vocals fine as grapes
A woman named Singing Sally said Liz was one she wanted to compete with
The two had a long singing battle then Singing Sally lost and then retreated
Koda’s wife was now known as Lively Liz
(Was it my singing?) she asked, and Koda casually said (might’ve been)
But knew it was with the best she could dance and sing
Clumsy Koda and Lively Liz now weird together two happy beings
