Tears of an angel

Listening to the wind wildly whistling around my door
I can not sleep 
i  can only hear the sound of my heart beating 
 harder than ever before

The dark skies filled with raindrops from above 

Are they the tears of the angels i once loved 

The rain pouring down hitting the ground 
Like long lost words you spoke 
only to never be found

Are they tears  from the angels above in heaven 

The angels Weep quietly upon the world that they once loved
Loved loved loved

If angels cry do they run out of tears 
like the rivers that run dry

Ohhh they run dry

On a sunny day is that you smiling down upon me filling my heart with warmth and love love love love

Do all the angels sing in the heavens above this crazy land
Do you each say a prayer hand in hand
Looking upon this gracious land

Do you speak of all the people you left behind
As we are trying hard to find
Find find

A way to make it through each day 
Living and breathing until we can say 

I’m coming up to heaven
Please be there to meet me at heavens gates
Gates 
I promise i won’t be late

Then i’ll hold you tighter than ever before 
Never to let another tear hit the floor

So unit i see you once again
Until i can hold you in my warm embrace

I’ll hold your memories inside of me like photo slides
I’ll hold them deep inside
Of me

The rain is pouring down on this dark and gloomy land.
Are you crying up in heaven
Showering tears on this land land.

Dry up all your tears 
For You have no more fears 
On this earth now i remain
Until i see my angel again
