A Prayer

I wake up in the morning

God please protect my peace

This weight on my shoulder

Is one thing I don’t need

My anger getting stronger

My patience getting thin

I try to be a better me

The devil wins again

The route that I’ve been taking has let me walk astray

I take a leap of faith, I get down and I pray

No worries should uphold me no problem or a stress

I let go and let God I know how much I’m blessed

Lord Forgive me for my sins

I know I’ve been a pain

I’m asking for forgiveness all in Jesus name

With a love like mine I can’t be defeated

I stand the test of time I don’t even need a reason

I fight like a tiger

I roar like a beast
