There it stands…
The castle made of glass…
Shining bright, cold and tall,
Mocking me from the sky.
This city…
I walked these streets with laughter once.
I ran, I danced,
Before the betrayal.
Before the chains.
I lost everything here…
And I lost it again.
This was my home—
And my grave.
Every step I take on these stones
Is a step through familiar old ghosts.
And now they say I must fight for him—
For a king who wears a crown of ice,
Whose heart is darker than even mine,
Whose throne is built on bones and lies.
A man who calls himself the king,
But knows nothing of loyalty,
Nothing of love, nothing of peace.
They say I am a monster…
But I know who the real monsters are.
And yet…
Somewhere beneath this sky,
There is a glimmer, a thread, a whisper—
Of something I never hoped to feel.
Freedom, is in reach.
I will fight.
I will bleed.
I will rise.
For the day I stand unbound,
The day I break these chains…
For the dream of walking free beneath the stars,
For the girl I used to be,
And the woman I will hope to become.
Glass and ghosts,
Shadows and stone,
I’ll fight for freedom,
This time I'll fight alone.
