Ocean of Despair

Floating in a sea of shadows, lost and far away

Echoes of a brighter past, fading every day

Caught in a nightmare, dreams turned sour

Isolation wraps me tight, feeling the power

Of a world divided, love torn apart

A fragile broken heart, bleeding in the dark

Trying to find a way back, to what we used to know

Seeking the strength within, to let the poison go

Sins and broken promises, weighing me down

But I hold on to hope, beneath this heavy crown

Can we go back to love? Can we find our way?

Hold each other's hands, erase this pain

Wrestling with doubt, fighting through despair

Football and wrestling, save me from the air

God and the devil, testing my soul

In this spiritual war, trying to take control

Float on this ocean of regret

Praying for redemption, don’t forget

One day, I hope we reunite, make us whole

Till then I’ll fight this battle, heart and soul

From darkness to the dawn, I rise, I stand

Battling shadows with the cross in my hand

Echoes of pain, but I refuse to fall

This is my fight, answering the mighty call

Memories of youth, of innocence divine

Fuel my resolve, in Christ's name I shine
