Angled shape of a wall,
The white shade of a door
In the room with the blind
Run far, hide by the side
Don’t wake the moaning voice
Don’t cry to the sky
Know where you are, you’ve been given a sight
Fear the pit,
Fires seek your feet
Glance at the same wall,
It’s no longer on the side,
It’s turning and making you fall
Bugs hum like beasts
You’re awake, but not fighting this stall
What’s the matter, you’re depressed?
Left alone, in distress?
Nothing to save you, no one to help,
You’ve passed the point of repentance
And now you want to live
Yell all you want, no one’s near
Don’t forget your empty words,
Your sin has caught you,
Your life was obscene.
“Never too late,” and “know that I’m great.”
Your speech has betrayed you,
You’ve lost to a snake,
The table has spoken and it’s a crushing mate.
Humble and shy
A child you are
Where have you been and what was your life?
Only your mother has known you to date
Your birth is a gift, a chance to be great.
Life is ahead, live it using your head.
It’s a fresh start, your soul was cleansed,
Find the right path and know who you are.
Thankful and silent,
Aware of new light
A gift to in infant
To be brought from such past
And finely to get it right.
