Ka-ra en-senu, mehu seret

Ineh hotep, sekhem netjer

He's the whisper in the tombs at night

The flicker of gold in firelight

Anubis comes in feline form

Silent and smooth like a desert storm

Eyes like suns, they pierce the veil

He guards the gate where shadows sail

Not just a cat, he holds the key

Between this world and eternity
