I know it’s over.
What we hoped we would have.
I’ve given you plenty of time to show me what we could be.
But all your actions or lack there of 
Just made me feel empty 

A woman needs more than empty promises.
More than the hope things will change. 
She needs effort, connection, and clarity.
Not merely breadcrumbs she must follow hoping maybe things will be different. 
So she could have something real. 

There’s been no investment when it comes to friendship so I can see you really want more. 
I risk losing you telling you how I feel,
But if me backing off causes me loss , it tells me this was never  real. 
Cause When someone loves you 
They care about how they make you feel.
