The flame,

Ignite,

My Hate,

Drowned my sorrows now I’m killing my feelings,

Disguised my sadness behind every smile,

Tried living in reality to enjoy the real things,

Light,

Made choices that made me feel like I’m not myself,

I fan the flames that feed into my hate and play the cards I was dealt,

Mirror on my face, I don’t let the feelings show,

Light my hate like a pyre so my devil wings can grow,

Mirror on my face, only expression on me is dead and cold,

When the horns sprout the flames are what I hold,

Had depressive episodes and I’d wanna end that pain,

With every wall coming down there’s another war in my brain,

But tonight I survived, (I survived)

Living in woes got dreadful so I deleted it,

No longer tightening the screws that are coming loose,

Becoming one person that’s been fighting the devils noose,
