I think I’m in love with you

I met a man out of the blue when I wasn’t looking for a relationship.

At first I figured he wanted me for just a fling.

But the more we talk the more the feeling grows.

I think I’m falling in love with you.

I think my future holds room for two.

The life I’ve always wanted, I dreamt about it

I hope that life is with you.

Taking trips to all new places, making memories in the tropics, or maybe dancing in the rain.

Doing pottery, or making dinner.

Going for a walk to the park, or laying in the grass outside, watching the sunset and admiring the stars.

I’d love to stay at home on Halloween, watching movies in matching pajamas with snacks and treats. Just you and me snuggled on the couch.

Wearing silly sweaters on Christmas, making gingerbread houses in the kitchen, hanging stocking above the mantle.

I wanna see you in a tuxedo.

Me in my beautiful white dress.

The music playing soft and slow.

You holding me close as we sway.

Thinking I’m so in love with you.

I dream of a house in the country. A couple dogs and a picket fence.

Maybe two or three sets of footsteps, that are tiny and quick paced.

Sipping coffee on front porch, watching the beauty of the sunrise.

Watching our kids grow up as we grow grey.

Loving every moment spent with you would be worth every wrinkle on my face.

But till then we’ll take our time learning about each other enjoy our youth and time together.

I hope you feel the same as I do. Maybe that future could be true……
