Unamused by the banter

Alone in my brain

The insanity creeps in like a dark kind of bliss

Eyes like sapphire they pull me right in

Through the trees she appeared

Disarrayed and confused

Spoke of the Cheshire cat adorned in bright stripes

The queen of heart to help get her out

I sprang to my feet a laugh I did belt before locking my lips

I offered a hand to show her the way

The queens castle appeared roses drip with red paint

She demand to see her and irritation etched my skin

I swallowed my discomfort to not scare the girl

The queen attempted to behead and such did not occur

For no one disrupts those who know know Mad Hatter

Days flew on by after escape from the queen

On the run for our lives something blossomed inside

Every laugh that she made caught my heart by a string

The queen found us still

One night on the hill my heart rate spiked

But not for my sake…..

a smile as innocent as new born lamb.

The queen raised her blade with a war cry for blood

My hand instantly found hers

“It was now or never.” My mind reeled

Arrows did fly and cries tore through the sky

We fought for escape till I heard her voice…..

As I turned my head her body did fall

The world seemed to slow as I slid to my knees

Tears in my eyes as she tried to hold on

Her smile faded to none

Eyes dark with no light, body limp like a doll

My sanity snapped as reality clicked

My body moved on its own as I slashed through the hoard

To take back for the girl who made me feel….love

I got to the queen out battle was feirce but her dagger was quick and peirced through my chest

The warmth of the blood as I sunk my sword into her

Then I smiled with glee as the world grew dark…..

It was finally over
