A million miles through a maze of corridors and caves,
A thousand miles walking on the waves.
An eternity at sea and you still won't be beyond the reach of me.
My wisdom finds its freedom in my poem,
Like the sun crosses the cosmos, glowing.
My words see no worlds they cannot teach,
And teach to find your peace with the freedom of speech.
If you sit back from that desire to think,
The beat of your heart you'll hear on the brink.
Hear sounds of the ocean with no way to sink.
Find a forest of flowers and feathers flying as high as the birds will sing.
Hold back from that thought to act,
And the universe comes rushing in with the wandering wind,
Immersed in imagination we all begin.
We close our eyes and the black at the back of our mind sings
Out the rhythm that we've all been given.
