I've been performing for approval for as long as I remember
Trying to prove I belong in rooms that I was never welcomed into
I keep a running total of my failures in the back of my mind
As if God needs a summary of everything I left behind
I show up to church dressed nicely — nobody knows the mess inside
Nobody knows I almost didn't come because of how I feel inside
That every time I raise my hands I'm half-afraid He'll push them down
Say "Not you — you haven't done enough — you don't deserve this ground"
But His grace is enough — His grace is enough for me
My power is made perfect in weakness — that's what He said to me
His grace is enough — His grace is enough
I don't have to have it all together to be covered in His love
When I am weak — then I am strong
When I let go and let Him carry — that's where I belong
His grace is enough — His grace is enough
I don't have to earn what He already freely gave to me
Paul asked three times to have the thorn removed from his flesh
Three times the answer wasn't healing — but grace was what was left
And Paul called it a boast — in his weakness, in his lack
Because when he ran out of himself — that's when God's power came back
I know that doesn't feel like comfort when you're barely getting through
When the weakness you've been hiding is the only thing that's true
But grace is not a reward for people who have gotten it right
It's the oxygen that gets us breathing again — it's the light
His grace is enough — His grace is enough for me
My power is made perfect in weakness — that's what He said to me
His grace is enough — His grace is enough
I don't have to have it all together to be covered in His love
When I am weak — then I am strong
When I let go and let Him carry — that's where I belong
His grace is enough — His grace is enough
I don't have to earn what He already freely gave to me
It is not by might — it is not by power
Not by the strength of your hands at any hour
By My Spirit — says the Lord of Hosts
It's not the ones who have the most who draw Me close
It's the one who comes in brokenness and bows before My name
It's the one who stops pretending — who's not ashamed
Of their weakness — because in their weakness I am there
And My grace — My grace — My grace is more than enough
More than enough — it is more than enough
His grace — His grace — His grace is sufficient for you
For you — for you — it is enough
His grace is enough — His grace is enough for me
When I am at my lowest — His grace lifts me
His grace is enough — His grace is enough
I stop striving — I stop hiding — I receive
When I am weak — He is strong
His power is perfected right where I don't belong
His grace is enough — His grace is enough
It was enough at Calvary — it's enough today
His grace — His grace — His grace is enough
