Morning After Shadows

Fading shadows, lost in the night

Questions whisper, no end in sight

Walking through the silence, cold and bare

Echoes of a story, too much to bear

Dreams fading, colors turn to grey

Searching for a reason to stay

But there's a flicker in the dark

A tiny spark, a hopeful mark

Maybe the dawn's just out of view

Still, I keep holding on to you

Hold on through the storm, hold on through the pain

Life's gentle whispers call my name

Shadows may linger, but I will fight

Shining again, after the night

Even in the lowest tide, I find my way

Stars will guide my night, to a brand new day

Hope's a fragile thing, but it's still alive

Dance with it, let it revive

Morning breaks through the window frame

Endings fade, begin again
