Storm Inside

Whirlwind life spinning, never knowing where it's landing

Feel the rush, the storm inside, slipping through my hands

One minute, all in, next all out, the tempo’s high

Like lightning striking fast, truth be the reason why

Color of the world, shifting from green to black, oh

Life’s a fleeting shadow, trying to find what I lack

Is honesty just a ghost in this maze?

Or are we lost in the fading days?

Looking through a lens that may be wrong

Searching for the truth in a half-forgotten song

Unpredictable storm, never knowing when it’ll leave

Life’s a wild ride on a wire, hanging by a thread

From green and alive to cold and dead, spinning fast

We’re what we are, surviving through the past

Maybe it's all a reflection, a mirror cracked and cracked again

Seeing joy and heartbreak, shadows in the rain

Could it be my eyes are the dark, blinding my view?

Or is the world just hiding something true?

All in and all out, the chaos and the calm

In this storm I find my truth, how I heal, how I am

The world keeps turning, a blur of black and green
