I’m crawling in my skin again,

Like something’s trying to break me in.

The walls are breathing, lights burn red,

There’s a fucking war inside my head.

I hear a whisper from the dark,

It knows exactly where to start.

Nobody sees what I become

When all the voices start to come.

When no one’s around, they call my name,

Feed me fear and feed the flame.

I shut my eyes, but they’re still there—

Fucking demons everywhere.

There’s a monster inside of me,

And he won’t let me fucking breathe.

Crawling, crawling underneath my skin,

Tearing every piece of me within.

When the room goes quiet, they come alive,

Whispering shit that I can’t deny.

I scream, but nobody hears the sound—

There’s a goddamn monster when no one’s around.

I wear a smile like a disguise,

While something wicked lives behind my eyes.

I tell myself, “Just make it through,”

But every shadow looks like you.

The demons laugh when I pretend,

They tell me I’ll never fucking win.

So I dance with darkness in my room,

While every heartbeat sounds like doom.

When no one’s around, they speak so clear,

Every fucking doubt becomes a fear.

I try to run, I try to hide,

But that damn thing lives inside.

There’s a monster inside of me,

And he won’t let me fucking breathe.
