Renaissance brought light and shade

With colors deep and portraits made

Artists learned to show what’s real

With joy and soul in every feel

Then came dots and skies so light

Impressionists just painted bright

Brushes danced like drops of sun

And every moment felt like fun

Van Gogh swirled the stars at night

With yellow fields and skies so bright

He showed the world his heart and pain

Through every line and brush and rain

Picasso played with shape and line

He made the world look so divine
