If life was a river, I’m a stone in its way

Never stopping the water, just shaping its sway

Every mile tells a story, every bend has a name

Some bring sunshine, some bring rain

I’ve felt the rush of a runaway tide

Moments that cut me, moments I survived

Didn’t ask for the storms, didn’t plan for the pain

But I stayed right here when the seasons changed

Water keeps moving, it never stands still
