Folded map in my pocket
Corners worn, still useful
Every mark just means I been there
Not that I’m done or through
Some roads I rushed through
Some I stayed too long
Some I marked with a question
Like “I’ll be back when I’m strong”
Compass spin, that’s okay
I ain’t lost, I just roam
Every step still count as progress
Even when I don’t know
Map still unfinished
Lines not straight
I don’t mind
World too big for perfect plans
I just walk and let time decide
Some towns feel like home now
Some faces fade with the light
I wave instead of promise
Say “see you” not “goodbye”
I learned you don’t need endings
Just a place to rest your feet
Save the moment, not the whole quest
Let tomorrow come to me
Map still unfinished
Ink still wet
Heart still open
If the path don’t make sense yet
That don’t mean it’s broken
Sun dip low, shadows long
Day don’t need a win
I close the book on this chapter
Smile, then breathe again
