Walking Solo

Walking solo on this winding road,

Footsteps echo, carrying a heavy load.

Memories flicker like faded neon lights,

Lost in the shadows of long, lonely nights.

Once had a friend who was my guiding star,

Held my hand when the world seemed too far.

Trust was our bond, unbreakable, pure,

But even the brightest stars can obscure.

Now I stand here, feeling the cold breeze,

Support turned into silent pleas.

Acceptance is my only friend,

In this dance of start and end.

I'm moving on, though it hurts inside,

Battered but brave, I won't hide.

People come and go like fleeting rain,

But I find strength to face the pain.
