Cycle of Shadows

In the shadows, I surrender, I feel alive

Dancing with my demons, in the night I thrive

I'm caught in a cycle, a swirl of desire

Men come and go, their souls fuel my fire

Temporary blessings, then emptiness follows

In their eyes, I see my reflection, hollow

Control is a whisper, a fleeting embrace

In the dance of the dark, I find my place

But inside, I wonder, what's left of me?

A soul roughened by the nightly spree

In this game of shadows, I remain

Demonic visits, emptying out

Yet I still cling, I have no doubt

They give me their truths, their fleeting grace
