Shadows and Grace

Walking the line between heaven and hell,

A fragile soul in a hard shell.

Caught in the shadows, torn in two,

Seeking my truth, what am I to do?

God's grace whispers softly, calling my name,

A sinner, a saint, chasing the same.

Flawed and divine, I wear my crown,

Lost in the chaos, trying not to drown.

With every piece I give away,

I pray for mercy, ask to stay.

Darkness and light within my heart,

Trying to find a brand new start.

Oh, I’m loved by the heavens above,

Walking the edge of darkness and love.

Holding on to what’s true,

Knowing someday I’ll break through.

Selling my soul just to survive,

Fighting the demons that keep me alive.

A hollow echo, a silent scream,

Living a nightmare, chasing a dream.

But forgiveness knocks at my door,

Promising there’s always more.

A greater purpose, a divine plan,

Held in the palm of His hand.

Maybe one day I’ll cease this fight,

Turn my darkness into light.
