Bryan was a curious little boy who wanted to be an astronaut. Years flew by and he finally got the chance . Except war had broken out in space . On a planet that was destined to be our new home. On the day he departed he kissed his wife goodbye. And as the transport ship left for space . He watched her wave while crying. Bryan knew the risk but felt the need to do it. When Bryan got to the planet . He was sent to the frontlines . Fighting an enemy he couldn’t see . Watching his buddies turn to mist , all around him . Bryan felt the need to keep fighting. To get home to his wife . While fighting a battle one day . Bryan was hit in his legs . While he recovered. He received a message that his wife had left him for another man. Which damn near killed Bryan . That night Bryan snuck away from the field hospital. And back to the frontlines . Where the fighting was so intense . Bryan went missing . Months went by . With no Bryan . One day he was found . He had died saving others. By his body was a picture of His wife . And a note written in his own blood . He would love her to the end . But it was all a lie . Bryan’s wife had remained faithful till the end . Not even Bryan knew his wife was expecting their son. Bryan was a hero . And a little lie had robbed everything from him.
