She's a hard-workin', easy-lovin' woman.
She's my soft place to fall.
When the day is done, I don't know where I'd be
if God hadn't sent her to me.
I know I've never been an easy man to love,
but it's time to slow down and give her what she needs.
It's a night on the town, and a honky-tonk bar,
dancing in Cold beer and spending time with our friends.
It might go on all night, or till the break of dawn,
one thing's for sure, we don't get it wrong.
When she gets us a shot of our favorite whiskey,
I can always tell when she gets a little frisky.
So I'll take her home and give her what she needs,
and we'll go back till they make us leave.
Then we'll go to Whataburger, our friend's house,
till the sun comes up, and then we'll sleep all day on Sunday.
Or we'll go to church, and lunch, and a movie on the couch,
and then get ready for work come Monday.
