I tried and gave it my all

Every damn day let me tell you all

Learned to grow and change in ways

But it was never enough for love to stay

Fought and stayed wide awake

For weeks to months I prayed

For something inside me to change

So I put in work day and night

Looking into the past man I cried

Regretting alot of decisions

Kept pushing looking for a garuntee

That what I was doing was my mission
