**Remember Who You Are**

Come closer.
I want to tell you a story.
Not about kings.
Not about queens.
About you.
You arrived on this Earth
without a résumé.
Without a religion.
Without a political party.
Without a flag.
Only a heartbeat.
Then life began to write on you.
"This is right."
"That is wrong."
"Be stronger."
"Smile more."
"Hide your tears."
"Don't ask too many questions."
Little by little,
you became a stranger
to the one who first opened their eyes.
Yet this world
has always spoken
in two languages.
Day and night.
Mountain and valley.
Ocean and shore.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
The seed does not apologize
for disappearing beneath the soil.
It knows
darkness is part of becoming.
So why should you
apologize for your winters?
Every scar
is handwriting.
Every mistake
a teacher.
Every heartbreak
a doorway.
Even broken branches
still carry the memory
of spring.
The sun does not shine
every second.
The moon does not compete.
Neither asks permission
to become itself.
Neither fears
its season.
Neither forgets
its place in the sky.
Perhaps...
That is what we forgot.
Not perfection.
Not success.
Ourselves.
You are not your worst day.
Not your greatest victory.
Not the names
others placed upon your shoulders.
You are the quiet witness
who survived them all.
So when life grows heavy,
pause.
Listen.
Beneath the noise...
beneath the fear...
beneath the endless opinions...
there is still a voice.
Ancient.
Patient.
Unbroken.
It has been calling you
since the day you arrived.
Not to become someone else.
But to remember...
who you have always been.
