Weight of the World

Silent whispers, heavy shadows fall

Lost inside, I can't escape this crawl

Been fighting shadows since June's first light

Trying to find a place that feels like right

The world’s so loud, yet I feel so alone

Hidden scars that haven’t fully shown

A friend who sees the storm within

Understands the battle I keep hidden

But even with their gentle gaze

Darkness still consumes my days

I’m reaching out, can you hear my plea?

Caught in a storm I can't break free

The weight of the world, it’s dragging me down

Feeling lost, about to drown

Shadows whisper, telling me to let go

But I want to hold on, can’t lose control

Loneliness is a heavy chain

Trying to breathe through all this pain

If I could find a way to be free

Escape this loneliness inside of me

But until then, I carry this weight

Hoping someday, I’ll find my way
