Rising from the Shadows

Shattered pieces on the floor,

Trying to find what I was before,

Broken chains, I hear the call,

It's time to rise, time to stand tall.

Walking through shadows, lost in the night,

Caught in a web spun tight,

Labels and lies, they tried to deceive,

But I’m breaking free, I believe.

They used my past against me,

But I’m reclaiming my story,

No more blame, no more pain,

I’m waking up from the rain.

I’m a survivor, a fighter in the dark,

Healing my scars, reigniting my heart,

From the depths I rise above,

Finding strength, receiving love.

Memories haunt, but I hold the key,

To the person I’m meant to be,

No more hiding, no more shame,

This is my life, I call my name.

Step by step, I find my way,

Into the dawn of a brand new day,

Though the past still lingers near,
