Walking through the shadows, lost in the rain

Fighting through the darkness, trying not to break

Every broken piece, every scar I hide

Hoping for a dawn, waiting for the light

Trying to rebuild from the ashes, starting from zero

Every day’s a battle, I’m my own hero

Trauma’s heavy, memories like chains

Fighting through the pain, feeling all the strains

PTSD echoes in my mind’s song

Night terrors whisper, but I gotta stay strong

Homeless under the sky, dreams feel so far

Chasing after hope, trying to raise the bar

One step forward, sometimes two back

Hold on to the hope, I won’t lose track

Roads are winding, but I gotta drive

With a goal in my heart, I’ll survive

Trying to find my way, step by step

Lost in the storm but I won’t forget

There’s a brighter day beyond the night

Gonna keep on fighting, find the light

Car’s still in the shop, months gone by

Broken down but I won’t let it lie

Money’s tight, but my dreams are bigger

Climbing out the dark, becoming the fixer
