Mercy in Your Eyes

Oh Heavenly Lord, hear my plea, I come before Thy throne

Seeking justice, seeking mercy, for those who've done me wrong

Nancy, John, Stewart, and Megan, they lost their way

Indulging in falsehoods, taking much, in shadows they stray

A homeless soul, humble heart, cries out in deep despair

Praying for forgiveness, praying that You hear my prayer

Oh Lord, Your mercy endless, Your guidance pure and true

Touch their hearts, enlighten, show them love anew

Mercy, Lord, I ask of Thee, wash away their sins

Guide them through Your light and love, let new life begin

On Judgment Day, when they answer to what they've done

May Your mercy shine upon them, like the morning sun

In Your grace, show me compassion, forgive their trespass

Help me find the strength to let go, to let Your love surpass

Each transgression, pain, and strife, all beneath Your eyes

In Your mercy, Lord, I trust, may truth and love arise

Dear Heavenly Lord, I leave it in Your hands, I humbly pray

May Your mercy fall on all, guide them to Your righteous way

Amen, I trust in You, my comfort and my guide
