1 shadow rising at the edge of your bed,

Breathing slow, whispering inside your head.

2 eyes glowing in the corner of the room,

Watching every heartbeat drift toward doom.

3 knocks echo from the hallway door,

But no one’s there, footsteps on the floor.

4 seconds pass, the lights start to hum,

Cold air shifting—something’s gonna come.

Nightmare creeping, won’t let go,

Fear is a river with a poisoned flow.

You can scream but it won’t begin,

'Cause darkness knows your every sin.

5 breaths left as the shadows crawl,

Claw marks dragging down your mental wall.

6 whispers circle like a haunted ring,

Voices chanting things that shouldn’t sing.

7 doors slam inside your mind,

But none of them lead to a way out in time.

The moon cuts deep through the broken glass,

Every memory burning as the demons pass.

8 steps echo as you back away slow,

Something follows everywhere you go.

9 chills roll down your spine like a curse,

Heartbeat racing, every second worse.

10 fingers reach from the pitch-black air,

Closing in tight—you’re already there.
