Blessed through the bad times

[Verse 1] We have all gone through those good times in our lives when we are thankful to God, for all the wonderful things that we have. That is because we are on top of that mountain looking back at the tough times, and we can then see how he has blessed us and brought us through the toughest times of our lives
[Chorus] Faith is what sustains me. Music gives me peace of mind. Love gives me a sense of purpose and helping others gives me pride. But on the other hand all the bad things that we go through give us even more than the good things do. Whenever we are low and lonely, that is when we look up to our loving Father, he will give us his protection through the storms of our lives. When a bad storm comes and then the sun comes out you can look up at all the beautiful colors of  God's beautiful rainbow.
[Verse 2] I know you are thinking that I'm crazy, or you may be  shouting from your seat, that I should be committed, but just let me explain, and just listen to what I have to say. Fear and sadness gives us comfort, for that is when we feel God wrap us up in his loving arms so tight. When things are going wrong in our lives, it makes us appreciate all of the good times. When we are about to lose it all, that is when we can see all the things that God has blessed us with, and then we are grateful for what we've got so just thank him everyday.

[Verse 3] Whenever we are low and lonely, that is when we look up to God on high. Our loving Father gives us protection through the storms of our lives. So praise him through the storms because that is when we are gaining strength to stand on our own two feet.
