They say that it’s the best time of year

When Christmas bells ring in your ear

But underneath that mistletoe

Is just another broken soul

Theres Christmas lights on every street

People putting up the Christmas trees

Presents wrapped with ribbons and bows

But deep down nobody knows

The one thing I wished for

Was to be with you forevermore

Now that’s gone, just like a dream

While the church is out caroling

Every day without you, since you had to go

Is like summer without sunshine

Or Christmas without snow
